Most of what we know, we can’t put into words.
We build structured decision models that use that knowledge anyway: fast, inexpensive, calibrated judgment for the everyday decisions that don’t need a chain of thought.
Say less
Return the decision and how sure we are. Nothing else.
Know what you don’t know
A confidence score is a promise. We measure calibration as carefully as accuracy, and publish both.
Show the work
Open weights, open code, and honest limits, including the results that don’t flatter us.
Why “Tacet”
Tacet sounds like tacit, as in tacit knowledge: what experts know but can’t say. In a musical score, tacet tells a player to stay silent. Both describe what we build: models that know more than they say, and that know when to leave a decision to a person.
Work with us
We’re talking with teams who want decisions inside their products, and with researchers who care about calibration and efficient inference.
